Samsung Omnia M black Review

Samsung Omnia M black

The Samsung Omnia M may not be a flashy phone, but this affordable device has many useful features more often found on high-end mobile phones, but at a much lower price. Running the Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 operating system (aka Mango), the Omnia M Black has a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480x800. Powering the whole show is a 1GHz single-core processor with 384MB of RAM. This processor and operating system combination ensure the fastest performance and smooth operation.

With a thickness of 10.5mm, the Samsung Omnia M is not particularly slimline, but it's certainly not bulky either, feeling solid in the hand and weighing 119g. There is a 5 megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo tagging, touch focus and video recording, but no secondary camera for video calling. The Omnia M offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with A2DP, other connectivity options include microUSB 2.0, GPRS & EDGE, and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA. Other features included on this handset are an FM radio, MP3 player, google maps navigation, Social Hub, facebook integration and much more. The specifications on this phone are much higher than most would expect given the price. This is a stylish Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphone, similar in looks to the original Omnia 7, but with rounded edges.

Overall, the Samsung Omnia M is a great phone for those on a budget or for people who are looking for their first smartphone and dont want to spend too much. Experienced smartphone users will probably not be interested, but in terms of price and functionality, the Samsung Omnia M Black is a great deal.
